So, having seen this now, I can understand why this project has taken like, a year in total. I am completely baffled that this guy made this all by himself, even with the help in voice acting and all the various actors helping him.
Of course the script and dialogue isn't what a normal film has, but for a Machinima, I am hugely impressed by the result, and to be fair, I've seen movies with worse special effects than what's being used in this one. It fits the WoW universe perfectly, I had goosebumps more than a couple of times throughout watching it, and god did it feel nice.
In short; loved it.

yes indeed very impressive as a "one man project".
That I loved it would be quite a stretch though.
Very impressive and very cool when iron edge is mentioned and the IE tabard is shown :D
-
That was... Legendary.
I cried during this movie actually :s :(
Worth waiting for, loved it.
-
Best WoW movie out there atm.
Some very nice fighting scene's.
5/5 !
Still want to stab some voice-actors in the eye like in the previous 2 ToTP though
-
I really liked it, many characters seemed to die though.
Maybe it was zeegolf stabbing them xD

That gnome that died (forgot name) was terrible voiceacting though :) havnt seen totp3 yet. Heard its 90 min long... So i probably burn it on a DVD then play it on TV :) Much more fun.

Only 10 hours left to go... go go 7KB/sec...
-
i can upload it to you with 200kB/s ....
But n0000000000 :P
-
Well it is 70% done...
I limited my upload to 1KB/sec, as I figured that 10GB uploaded was probably enough.
-
thank god for torrents eh?
-
I have a ratio of 15,3 atm. Over 35 gb uploaded. :)
I've also uploaded it to friends ontop of that, still nice to be able to help with the seeding. Got a limit on 600 kb/s but still, it's something.

worth watching this movie
also must say this movie denatly had a big anime influence
for the people that read/watch bleach during the fight scene with arthas at some point blazer should have shouted Getsuga tenshō and get it over with :)
anyway best machinima movie i've seen EVER
-
shame i can't use damn torrents : /, gogogo 7kb/s direct download!
Edit: finally found a good one big speed now :)
-
Well, I 'sort of' watched it. There's an awful lot of standing around goes on, so I skipped little steps a lot of the time. Not keen on the overly strong anime style either, I mean, when Blazer is flying with that yellow glow behind him I was thinking, "wth? rocket paladin?". And then the super fast sword fighting, when it was just showing one character it looked like super fast sword epilepsy to me.
Script seemed a little rough around the edges at times too, combined with a bit of 'odd' voice acting for a few characters.
There's no doubt a lot of work has went into it, but sometimes I just couldn't help but cringe.
On a side note, it's easy for you EU folks with silly connections to get good ratios, hardly something for you to brag about (Brother) :P Meanwhile, here I am uploading at 30-40KB/s, ratio takes forever to climb, and if you download something even once in a while, you just can't come close to 1.0 : /

I downloaded it in about 2 hours with 70kb/s upload.
And thank you kawe for joining me in thinking it was not that good :)
-
That was without doubt the best gaming movie I've ever seen!
-
Just finished watching it, definately the best WoW related movie I've ever seen and probably ever will see. The script was rough at times, but for a sort of "hobby" film this was just ace! Absolutely worth watching it, Martin does a great job with picking out the soundtracks and making the battles feel truly epic.

It owned :>
Seriously tho, I really liked it. Some parts of jibberish could've gone away I guess, but it was completely awesome, never seen anything like it. Im gonna watch it again from time to time. :P
-
downloading it now with torrents, hope i can watch it when i return home this evening :D
How does Torrents work :S, Its downloading with 0.0 kb/s
-
I've just seen it together with Inphyy. It's awesome. I love the last part, with the song: Downfall - TRUSTCompany. It's amazingly cool. Reminds me of the days when i watched Naruto and DBZ though.
-
Anyone wanna help me out with a song he used? The song playing whilst Blazer is killing one from his expedition, raping his woman :O
Edit: nvm, Starsailor - Way to Fall.
Just had to pick out the right lyric

Watched it last night , put it on disk and shoved it on the big screen with effects , was a little bit disapointed in the anime effects dont think it was the way to go tbh , loved the layout in totp2 more.
fight scenes on the large battles was awesome as per usual and the voices overs was pretty good , still chuckle at the " Have you found my bloody hat yet " Blazer gave to Yimo.
without a dowt the guys got talents and you gota take your hat off to him for the overall presentation but totp2 just had more imo.
overall 7/10

Quite nice movie, cant deny that. However, right from the beginning I found it incredibly biased towards the alliance, and the script could definetly need some polishing. With that said, its well edited, good soundtrack and a generally nice feeling of watching hehe. I'm gonna have to go with the flow and give it a 7/10.
-
Amazing! Will the WoW film be better? who knows!
-
I'm pretty sure Maquan just set a new standard for storyline wowmovies.
Some of the anime effects was a bit too much, but I really loved some of the editing (The scene where Blazer kills expeditionguy)
I also would've wanted Thrall to be able to fight Arthas a bit more. Not kick his ass, just been able to attack him a bit.
-
9/10
awesome! but yes it was more alliance based then horde, but afterall, Edon Aurora was alliance werent they, and they started TotP.
-
i liked the movie :)
