Google doc already has online spreadsheets.

No fun trying to compete with google.

I'd love a server-side type of spread sheet so I don't have to bug my self with Microsoft Office crap, most of EJ spreadsheets always lack some data and/or options. I never realised how to add ring enchants to sheet...

Oh yeah. Plox... I hate using MS office etc. if I can at all avoid it. A web-based alternative would be so welcome I'd cry living doves.

Maybe something regarding the guild bank with a possible request function that could forward peoples request in public or in private just with the click of a button. Then maybe even make one guild tab available for non-guildies so they can request(buy or show interest) by using that function but also if it's possible keep guild bank logs longer and it's also easier to watch over those things outside of the game.. Just some ideas. I'll post some other ideas later. :)

Oh yeah, the topic!

regarding the wowTV thing, it'd be pretty cool if we could stream live video of raids to a website page :) Maybe or maybe not have vent sound play though.. haha :D

Interesting topic which I'll think more about for the next couple of days. I like the idea of a hosted pre-fab DKP system, as I really approve of the one we're using at the moment. I don't really think we can compete on the addon site compared to places like Curse and such, and I don't think we can compete with stuff like EJ when it comes to spreadsheets and theorycrafting.

However, we could, as suggested, make the spreadsheets webbased in some Java stuff perhaps? I don't really enjoy the way they work in office, and if you could even somehow make them import your own data from the WoW-EU armory, that'd probably rock.

Will return with more ideas (if I get any) maybe Monday...

Okay, WoWTV is totally workable.

Upgrading my internet connection in the next week or two will make the stream a lot nicer...

Would estimate you need 1mbit+ to stream a decent quality at 2-3FPS. No problem for most of the non-UKers in the guild I guess -- but more interested in other raid leaders around EU, and what their connections might be...

Well, I'll have to create a sign-up service and find out...

Actually, I'm sure wiping is a hell of a lot more fun when it's not you who's wiping ;D
