Mage A-Team Application
« on: November 23, 2010, 01:56:05 am »
Yo Pundish, Level 80 Female Undead Mage

Personal Information

Hey, my name is Alias Yemen, I'm a 20 year old guy living in Sweden. I took a almost 1 & half year break from WoW but since I found myself bored I decided to join some RL friends on Dunemaul. In my spare time I hang out with friends, play WoW, chase girls around :P and hit the gym every now and then.

Character Information

Name: Pundish
Class: Mage
Race: Undead
Armory: Pundish Armory

Raiding

I can usually raid everyday, might be some exceptions on weekends since I like to go out clubbing with friends occasionally.

More specific times:

Mondays: Whenever required
Tuesdays: Whenever required
Wednesdays: Whenever required
Thursdays: Whenever required
Fridays: Whenever required if not clubbing
Saturday: Whenever required if not clubbing
Sundays: Whenever required

Gaming and World Of Warcraft history

I've started out playing Counter Strike which is a classic pretty much everyone played it, Then some Runescape which is just pathetic aswell as Tibia. From that I've kept on playing lots of MMORPG's Maplestory which is a platform MMORPG to whatever you can name.

Started playing WoW pretty late but advanced quickly playing a mage on a server named Ahn'Qiraj, Pretty much cleared the whole Classic WoW content. When TBC was closing up me and my friends decided to roll alliance on a server named Skullcrusher. I decided to roll a Gnome Warlock which was a awesome choice :). First Lady Vasjh kill on the server with a guild named Tainted. Pre BT and Hyjal I decided to play PvP instead, Ending up at 4th place arena season 2 playing Disc Priest, Demo/Affli Lock in 2v2. My arena partner quit playing season 3 so I quit to. 2 Months later I rolled a druid on a server named Al'akir, Choosing resto as my specc I easily got my PvP going, with the help of some friends I joined a BT / Hyjal raiding guild. Cleared both before the attunement nerf. Kept playing the druid trough out WotLK. Cleared everything pretty much before TotC and ICC. Cause I quit before the got introduced.

Why do you want to join Iron Edge?

I'm new on Dunemaul, Been playing here for about 2 weeks since most of my friends are here. I entered a pug group for Yog'Saron and Algalon and got introduced to some Iron Edge members to mention some name's Ildlar and Doomslayer and they were very pleasing, Enjoyed the group and spoke to them abit after the raid. Asked about the guild and it seems to be the only decent english speaking guild on Dunemaul. I'm really looking forward to progressing with a solid guild on Cataclysm and Iron Edge seems very promising! :)

What can I offer to Iron Edge?

I can offer a open minded and wicked humored guy. I'm really active kind of a night person always online after raids up to do more things help people out. I always try to do my best which usually is more than enough. Basically a solid raider and social person. I can also offer a player who got a 7th sense for PvP :)

Last words?

I bet my cock is bigger than yours  ::)

I think u got the wrong idea about Iron Edge and A raid. The gear that's shown our your armory is bad, gems are bad professions are bad. Now to set you on the right track, Iron Edge is one of the best guilds on server if not the best.
With current state of your gear/progress in end game content shows me you can't raid with in any of our 2 raid grps.

Other than that application looks very nice, simple and clear. Good luck no matter what!

That is true as well, don't think this is the final decision wait for officers to give their thoughts. Consider my answer as lil' heads up on what to expect. You sound as a good guy. All i can say if u get the chance to join our cata raiding squad move from fire. :D

Hey Pundish, thanks for the app.  What Cojche is accurate concerning IE and the a-raid.  Atm we'd only be able to recruit for Cata (we've got maybe 1 raid left before then.) To join our raiding team for the expansion you'd have some evidence to demonstrate that you are a decent raider.  Unfortunately, with you taking a long break and only just hitting 80, you can't do that.  So I'm going to have to deny you on that front.

Sadly it's also true that there are few predominantly english speaking guilds left on Dunemaul.  However, there are other ways of getting into IE.  We've recently opened up our guild to community members.  There's no promise of raid spots or anything like that, but if you want somewhere to hang around and be cool, then we're the place to be! And hey, maybe when the raids start forming in Cata, you can show your awesomeness by level/gearing up quickly.

If that interests you, you can start getting to know us by reading/posting on these forums, taking part in irc (see the mega-exciting chat link at the top,) chatting on TS and playing with us in wow.  If you want a more guaranteed raiding position, you'll need to look elsewhere for now!

Thanks for the hospitality ^^, I'm new to the server and I'm kind of new to the game now too. So if I'm offered a social spot I'd like it :)

Looks good to me. We need to counterbalance the growing number of Dutch, too.
Now I run a tech website.
