Personal Info:

My name is Erinc Ersan, and i am 19 years old. I am from Turkey, studying Civil Engineering in Middle East Technical University. I spend my time with guitar, wow, cinemas and i like anything Post-apocalyptic themed, especially zombie apocalypse!


Spec:

I use fire as main spec at the moment cuz it has good dps when you encounter fights with adds and still has a solid dps against one -target .

Class:

Mage is what i always choose when I step into a new game, so did I the same 5.5 years ago in wow .
Intelligence>Hit Rating> Crit> Haste> Mastery is the rule i arrange my character.
As for a rotation I start with Scorch, then Living bomb and fireball spammage with Instant-Pyro Procs, usually there wont be any need to refresh the scorch, so basically i turn back to the beginning, also I use engineering Tinker<Hands>+Flame Orb together, then Activate my trinket's haste buff and use combustion when i have LB+ignite+Pyro dmg on the target. I track those with CombustionHelper addon.

Alts:
A recently been-lvled 77 level warrior<in dunemaul, yarr!>,a 85 shaman  and some other alts in jaedenar which will stay there forever i guess lolol.

Professions:

Tailoring and Engineering at max level.

Raid Experience:

I have raided the whole TBC content except the sunwell, Same goes for the WoTLK(not heroics except some in icc), killed every boss in Cata in normal mod. I was in ICore-Jaedenar from the beginning of Cata where i made 1/13hc progress with them, and they had a guild progress of 3/13hc at total.Unfortunately needed to give a break to wow for 1 month cuz of final exams, at that time my guild made a progress of 6/13 heroic.
When I started again i seen that many people had given a break and we were not doing 25mans anymore, spent some time with thee fellas , recently they have merged with another guild called Liquid Courage to keep on doing 25mans,  I couldnt catch up with them gear-wise and felt like i am not going to get a spot in Firelands either, also many of my IRL friends play at dunemaul and i was relying my guild as an excuse to not to migrate there, now with no guild around  i said "Why not"and currently applying to your guild:)
Availability:
I would be available every night after 18.00 if nothing urgent pops out.

Communication:

Not bad i know english for 12 years, i do not hesitate to talk on vent or any other voice chat software when needed.

Internet Connection:


Its 1mbps fiber-optic,but my provider is using government's infrastructure so i sometimes get disconnects tough it is very very rare.

Addons/UI:

I keep my UI simple , I use Combustionhelper, Omnicc, doom_cooldown_pulse, omen and dbm for pve, for pvp i have gladius and some little combat text mods.


Other Games:

i play CoD , but it became so rare these days ;( , i play Left 4 Dead 2 most of the times with my other 3 IRL friends (usually weekends)

Why Iron Edge?

I quit my guild recently in Jaedenar and i have many friends in Dunemaul<not in Iron edge tough> , I want to play with them so  i recently started  a warrior here, with no guild binding me to jaedenar i thought it would also be good to migrate my main here too  so checked out wowprogress.com, Iron Edge seemed quite g00d. ^^

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I am looking for a good raiding envionment, and outside the raids , good communicative ppl is what i seek, I am an active mage who wills to contribute to any progress.

I definately wanna raid Firelands and  willing to put all my effort to do the best, i am active and a good listener, and not a guy who cant stand to criticism.

Application looks fine, your gear level is good enough and you seem to have decent experience. I take your comment to what raid you are applying for as that you want to join the HC raid but are not sure if you will get in and are ready to raid with casual raid if so? Looking at your availability I will recomend to apply for the hardcore raid.

Some inputs on your character:

Missing one tinker

Arcane Concentration really isnt needed anymore, I know pyromaniac is only usefull in some fights but thats really a better choice. I prefer improved schorch over Arcane Concetration since its more contralable and you can decide for yourself when you need to be conservative about mana or not. If I would to take away my point from imp scorch i would definitive put them in imp fireblast

I would also run your character in RAWR, gemming veiled deamonseye and reforging everything to hit/crit is rarley the right choice for a fire mage. RAWR isnt exact science but its alot better then gut feeling since stats prio is pretty complex with ignite munching and so on.

by the way, where does your friends play on dunemaul? why not apply there?

, they are friends from my highschool, and not all of them are playing in the same guild , like 6 in smwhere and 4 in another place , and they have recently quit a guild and joined another one<Apocalypse>, one of my friends say that they might quit there too , seems like they couldnt find the right spot as its also hard for these guilds to arrange a raidgroup to include 6 of those guy, so they dont have permenance atm . That 's why i am leveling a warrior as i mentioned above , to play with them mostly, and with the mage ; i may pvp ,do 5-mans,and hang aroud with them. :>

So, you are planing on playing your warrior as an alt with your friends or raiding with that on your friends and on your mage with us?

Im not an officer, but I would have to recomend a decline, there's just a phew to many questions marks in this application and gear/experince is not exeptional

no  , i will play the warrior as an alt,  i have played with my mage for the passed 5 years, leveled my shaman to 85 but never raided with anything except the mage and mainly will do pvp with the warrior.

well as far as i saw raids in Iron Edge take place between 19:30-24:00;

 9 hours of raiding a week is good for me:P

Hi,

If you are free I would to trial you monday 19:30, Im usally online pretty late so whisper Smashme, Gaeios, Yoica or Blackwhale for a invite

You need to read up on all fireland bosses before monday, espacally Shannox and Beth. Bring volcanic potions and make sure that your microphone works
