@Feral - You up for streaming, does that mean you can play?

Just wanna shoot out a few ideas, if you guys don't mind.

If we can get Feral, Ghost, Grilly (I might be able to get Shankski and Creek to come play, they both have the game) and a few more to establish 3 teams, let's say 18-21 people (6-7 per team) we could have some kind of a group stage system.

Where in the group stage each team in the group, plays a match against the other two teams in the group. Each of these matches is a best of three, so you can sub people in and change line-up, change tactics etc.

If a team wins two of the three games in a match, they win the match, this gets them say 1 point and gets the losing team 0 points. Then, once all these group stage matches have been played, the two teams with the most points from this group stage advance to a final. These are preliminary numbers and can be changed and in the event of a tie break on points, a sudden death match of just one game could be played.

In the final we simply play a best of five match, if a team wins three of the five games in this match, they win the whole thing.

If we only manage say around 14 people (which is what we're looking at atm) we can just go with two teams and have the best of five over a couple of nights, maybe sort out a few practice sessions for each team and a few friendlies to get everyone used to playing with their team, see what line-ups work best etc.

We'll see. I see no reason to rush it. Consider this postponed by at least 2 weeks.

If we do get 15 or more people to sign up, then I'll run this on the next three sundays after easter, in a three team setup, 2 games per night, meaning each team will meet each other twice.

Meanwhile, I'm planning another event that will involve public drafting and picking/banning. We need 2 captains and 8 more players for this event. It will probably be held next sunday evening. I'll give details later.
