Personal Info:

Zoe, 28, UK, unemployed (not looking!)

Spec:

I'm running ele and resto atm. Ele is my MS, although I've experience using resto in HC DS as well as more recently in flex. I'm at 522 ilvl, and since I'm currently lacking set bonuses I could viably go as either for MS.

Class:

For ele, I'm stacking haste with mastery after the hit cap. Still at this gear level I value int over secondary stats (even 2x). For talents I'm using EotE (ehich is still simming slightly ahead of the other two at tier 60) and usually Elemental Blast as SoO has a couple of target-switching fights at the front-end. I switch to Primal Elementalist where a single target burn will allow my ele to provide it's max DPS (especially since my racial as an orc buffs it a little). Unleashed fury seems to be viable now in 5.4 but as yet I haven't felt the need to take it above the others. I track relevant buffs/debuffs for ele using WeakAuras, which allows me to "queue" the next spell (especially useful for tracking stacks to use Earth Shock on time).

For resto, more mastery is key, and I'm still stacking spirit atm. For my useful raiding talents, Ii've chosen Ancestral Swiftness, Rushing Streams & Unleashed Fury. This is ideally setup for tank healing, and I would swap out to Primal Elementalist for raid healing.

I've tried to give you info about how I play to show you my understanding rather than just rotations that could be pulled from any site. I'm happy to give more detail if you would like it though.

Alts:

I have at level 90 a mage, druid, DK, priest & warrior. I raided HC DS with all these toons, plus a rogue - I was filling any spot the second raid team of my guild at the time required as the realm was dying, recruitment was hard, but we didn't want to drop the remaining 7-8 players from the team.

Professions:

I have engineering specifically to line up with Ascendance, and currently Alchemy as it's useful and there's no reason not to have it!

Raid Experience:

I raided T11 onwards as a mage as my main with Northern Expedition @ Lightbringer. We cleared 7/13 HC pre-nerf, 6/7HC Firelands pre-nerf and 6/8 HC DS pre-nerf whilst eventually killing Madness with 10% buff. I was an officer in this guild, and we ran 25 man when we could. I also pugged a lot of runs on Ravencrest during my "off" nights.

I raided with Pwnanza @ Kazzak at the end of DS and into the start of MoP, clearing 2/6 MSV HC at a hardcore progress level.

Previous Guilds:

Guilds as above - I left Northern Expedition as the realm was struggling and I wanted to pursue some progress raiding.

I left Pwnanza as their schedule was increasing to 6 nights, and I could no longer commit to that intense level of raiding. I took a WoW break at this point, and now I am BACK

Availability:

My time is my own... I don't do mornings, that's all.

Communication:

English is my first language, I listen and am eloquent. I have a mic and I will use it if required, although honestly I prefer not to.

Computer / Connection:

System handles 25man perfectly well, never had any serious connection issues, I don't DC a lot.

Addons/UI:

I use Skada, DBM, GTFO & TimeToDie for general utility in raids. I use WeakAuras for tracking buffs, debuffs, stacks, and anything else I can think to make it manage. I heal with VuhDo & Decursive.

Other Games:

TBH I don't play anything with a steady committment, although I'm gonna go get GTA V!

Why Iron Edge?

I am looking for a raid team with solid, decent progress without raiding 4+ nights/week. I believe it's possible to progress steadily provided everyone is committed. I'm also really keen on the idea of a guild that's established and wont fall apart at the end of any given tier, as many can do when the player base drops. And I really love 25 man... ten man is ok, but 25 feels like real raiding to me!

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I hope my past progress shows that I'm a decent player. I know I'm not geared on this toon due to being out of the loop for a while but I can play well, and am looking for a place to call home! I'm not looking for a leg-up, or a boost to higher places; I'm committed & loyal, and believe if given a trial I'll prove worthy of the place.

Only to reiterate that I'm happy to go ele or resto MS.. in fact I'm happy to give them both equal weight tbh. I know my gear is lacking, I'm happy to work on that until I'm at the standard you'd request.

Very sorry for the late response. Our roster is very big atm especially for ranged dps, so we dont really have an empty raidspot for you.

You are of course welcome to join as a social member to join flex and such.

It is noted on wowprogress that we are not accepting raiders atm, but I guess you might have read it before I added that.
