Class/Spec:

Currently playing disc as it seems stronger and more needed in raids this tier, but have historically played Holy since Vanilla, switching to Disc and Shadow as needed.

My Disc gear stands at 729 and Holy at 731.  This is before upgrading - I have had a month or so away from the game as I recently changed jobs, and now am working on all the upgrading required.

Int > Spirit (to an amount I feel sustainable for fights) > Mastery > Crit > Multi > Haste.  An alternative would be to prioritise Crit above Mastery however since shielding is a bigger part of the playstyle at the moment, for me Mastery wins out.  Stat weights change regularly depending on tier bonuses and available trinkets so I always tinker around and also read up on my class.

Tailoring, to help gear up in any new expansion and Engineering for tinkers and repair bots and not forgetting, toys and pets.

Raiding Experience:

I've raided since Vanilla, clearing all content and even getting a couple of server firsts in TBC.

In Warlords as part of PCEU I have been a regular raid member and have cleared Mythic Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry as a Holy priest and then rerolled to Paladin for Hellfire as a previous raider returned and wanted to play Disc (sadly Holy hasnt been as strong this tier).  So after levelling and gearing up my Paladin, and being somewhat behind in gear and legendary quest, our Disc goes AWOL and I reroll back to my priest and start the gearing process again.

So I now have a Holy Pala with 10/13 mythic and Priest with 12/13 Mythic and a 12% wipe on Heroic Archimonde.

Previous Guilds:

I have been involved in current raiding progress since I joined PCEU two years ago.  Unfortunately a change in my job at the beginning of November meant I had to miss raids and crucially our kill of Archimonde.  Sadly I wont be able to sustain the number of raiding nights a week PCEU requires now, but I also dont want to quit wow completely.  I certainly missed it the last few weeks.  So I am looking for a guild that raids a maximum of three nights a week, but most importantly for me, has a good sense of community.

Availability:

I dont work shifts, have no other responsibilities other than ensuring the dog is fed and walked, and so raid times are no problem.

Communication:

English speaker with Teamspeak, Mic and Headset.

Computer / Connection:

Decent computer upgraded in the last six months.  I have had no issue with raid instances this tier or before.  Sit at 30-35 home and world ms and am on Virgin Media cable broadband - very little disruption.

Addons/UI:

I use Vuhdo for healing with their mouseover macro setting, Big Wigs, Exorsus Raid Tools, Elvui for appearances and Details for logs.

Other Games:

Mainly other computer games in the past - have had the beta to Overwatch which was brilliant and am interested in Black Desert which comes out in Q1 2016.

My logs arent great this year due to the rerolling and gear issue, however I have a lot of end game raiding experience, would love to stay on the server and believe I can be a positive contribution to your guild?  Wow, that sounds so corny.

Hey Meg / Synai,

I like the apply, its nice and pleasant, informative if you can link your logs that'd be great aswell. We have a somewhat influx of healers currently and we do encourage our healers to have a viable dps spec recently due to those dirty slacky ranged dpsers hiding or quitting for some rl nonsense. If you are asked to do this would you be able to play competitively as a ranged dps if required?

I assume you mean 12% mythic and not archimonde wipe as that would be something to maybe not brag about , as you work at Tesco HQ, can you give family rates at your stores??? Now thjat would be something worthwhile in recruiting

Anyway if you can add some logs to your application that would be great, even if not as high as your mythic geared colleagues over in PCEU, be nice to take a player or 2 from the 13/13mythic guilds to bolster our own and i understand the time constraints issue you have.

We do have a raid tonight maybe you can whisper Drayne bout joining and see how it goes that way first.

Gosh yes the 12% wipe was followed by the legendary 1% wipe on Mythic Archi. I think I linked a video of one of our progress raids.  Its a fun fight, but can be very repetitive as Disc if you are soaking the fire.

I'd love to join you guys on a raid sometime, however Synai got saved to Upper Mythic last night, but I do have a spare priest and pala available if needed!

Hi there!

Your application looks pretty good, and I think you would be a good addition to the future of the raid. With that in mind, I'd like to give you a trial.

The problem for you is that since we're in the middle of progressing on Archimonde, there's a real danger you'd be benched for up to a couple of weeks until we kill him for the first time. There's of course the possibility that our core healers won't make it for some reason, but that's frankly unlikely.

We are however planning to farm Archimonde for a good while after killing him, at least until interest dies down, so you should be able to get your kill eventually.

If that sounds acceptable to you, you can go ahead and whisper an officer for an invite!
