Personal Info:My name is Louis and I come from a town called Herning in Denmark, where I live with my girlfriend and our dog. I work at Aarhus University as a PhD-fellow. Here I do research, teaching and follow my own courses as part of the PhD-programme. My research focus is the match between nurses and patients with a believe in, that with the use of statistical models one could free up time making the workday for a nurse easier. Hopefully a small step in the direction of ending the crisis of nursing shortage. I do also teach, mostly statistics, to under-graduates. My teaching is done both in English and Danish, and I do have a lot of international colleagues, so talking English is quite normal for me.
When I am not playing wow in my spare time I work out, go hunting or enjoy a good movie (or TV series) with my girlfriend.
Class/Spec:At the moment, I play Resto Druid. I started healing back in season 2 of Shadowlands, and I believe it is my calling in mythic+. However, I did in season 4 tank on my old blood death knight, which was also fun due to the large control you have as a DK tank. I do however not really enjoy their lack of mobility.
I enjoy playing healer but are capable of other roles as well. My plan for Dragonflight is to main my druid but also level and gearing shaman. I like the playstyle of those healers and find them as strong and versatile in content such as mythic+.
The druid is now on Tarren Mill, I already have bought transfers and are ready to do so. I just wanted to wait until getting an answer for the application. I have experienced earlier that the armory link breaks.

Professions:My druid’s professions herbalism and alchemy. Most of my other classes have alchemy and engineering. It gives me longer flasks and wormhole.
Raiding/PVP Experience:I raided all the way back in WotLK and Cataclysm. I haven’t however raided a lot in the previous expansions.
I have mostly done mythic+. Sadly, most of my runs have been pugging, making it kind of hard to get a decent score) – I do though manage to get 2700 RIO on my priest in season 3. My idea for DF is to push higher, but still keeping it casual.
I haven’t done a lot of PvP, mostly some BGs or unrated PvP for fun.
Previous Guilds:I haven’t really been in a “real” guild since cataclysm, but only in random guilds I have been invited into. I have mostly played with friends scattered across different realms. Though I have now decided to settle down on Kazzak.
Availability:I will mostly be available at night. I believe I could do to specific nights a week (which doesn’t really matter) as minimum. However, my schedule changes a lot from week to week, so it is hard to ensure evenings for example for raids week after week. Which is also the reason why I apply as a social member, and why I mostly have played mythic+ the past seasons. At the moment I try to be online every Tuesday and Thursday as a minimum.
Communication:I am proficient in English and use discord both to talk and to listen. On discord I might not be the most talkative, but I have no issues doing so. I am analytic and normally* think before I talk.
*Disclaimer: Sometimes I do however forget to think. ;-)
Computer / Connection:I have a decent pc (I have listed some of the specs below). Some of the parts could use an upgrade such as mobo and memory. But it doesn’t show any issues when gaming. I do sometimes have issues with my router, so I am planning to upgrade that first. However, a restart of it always solves it and takes 1-2 minutes. And I only experience lag when the router is messing up.

Other Games:I mostly play wow, but do like games such as Assassin’s Creed. Sometimes I play CS:GO with a couple of old school mates (or colleagues from time to time, but that was mostly at my old job). I do play some VR as well (mostly BeatSaber – cause it makes me feel like a jedi).
Why Iron Edge?Several of my friends are already members of Iron Edge and have heard great things about the guild and the community. Something I really feel I can see my self be a part of. I like being part of a social environment where everybody lifts their weight and help each other when it is needed.
What can I offer Iron Edge?I can offer a friendly social member, who enjoy helping others and don’t care if people are in a process of learning. I often bring people along into mythic+ if they need keys done for gear (or just to have a good time). You get a member that is diplomatic and believe that talking about things is the only way forward.
I am a person who want to bring something to the table in dungeons, and I want to challenge myself when playing mythic+.
