Class/Spec:

I like the threat generation and the defensive cooldowns. Also being able to heal myself makes me feel powerful.

Alts:

I have a number of alts, mainly playing tanks or healers. I have a 80 prot paladin (5.2k) and a resto druid (5.1k). Still leveling my dps toons, mage 76, 72 hunter and a few others. Using two accounts so that my mage can port me around and for easier leveling.

Professions:

DK: Alchemy & Engineering
Pala: Alchemy & Engineering
Druid: Mining & Herbalist
Mage: Ench & Tailoring
Hunter: LW & Skinning

Alchemy for the gem transmutes, Engineering for the raid utility.
Druid is my farmer
Mage for disenchanting and cloth cooldowns

Raiding/PVP Experience:

Killed ICC 25HC on a private server 10 years ago. Raided every week for months until we killed LK.
Also raided in Shadowlands many years later.
Recently started playing WOTLK in TOGC, killed 4/5 25HC.

Previous Guilds:

Raided in Sentinal on private server Molten

Availability:

I'm working 07:00 - 16:00 during the week. Playing every evening and over weekends except Tuesdays (art class with my wife).


Communication:

Yes, I'm able to speak English. Also use Discord every day with a working mic and headphones.

Computer / Connection:

I'm using a 150/150 fibre line, no connection issues. South Africa does have load shedding but my house is on solar power which acts as a UPS, so no interruptions. No issue with FPS or my computer.  

Addons/UI:

WeakAuras - Isn't it obvious?
Bartender - Makes my bars more compact and the layout more to my liking
Plater - Makes keeping track of mobs in combat much easier
Pitbull unit frames - makes my target and targets target easier to see. Also focus, focus target, and focus targets target.

Why Iron Edge?

I'm chasing the high of 2012-2013 when we progressed through ICC with my guild on Molten. I'm hoping to clear ICC 25HC with Iron Edge!

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I'm active, have lots of alts and like raiding. MinMaxer at heart

I have a number of friends that would like to join the guild as well. Trying to keep playing together, but they will obviously need to fill the application themselves.

Hey Deathtail,

Thanks for your application! I was wondering, would you also be open to playing one of the dps specs (UH/Frost)? We currently have two dedicated main spec tanks and don't really need a 3rd one. But we do need more dps, and you could be OT for any 3-tank fights
