Personal Info:

I'm a 34 year old banker from the UK, with a Swedish wife so spend my time between Sweden and London. No children that I know of except a 7 month old cockapoo called Indy.

Class/Spec:

I have played all 3 Hunter specs in mythic raids over the years. SV during Sepulcher when it was insane. 10.2 it looks like BM will be the best spec but we'll see.

Maybe it's easier to refer to the raiding experience question to see if I know hunter, but also refer to the question below about alts because I am probably looking to main something else in 10.2 but I haven't decided what yet. It depends what the guild needs.

Previous Guilds:

See above, almost all of them disbanded

Fang I unfortunately had to leave during Jaina prog due to IRL.
High Status, although no longer visible on wowprogress, was around the same level as Fang, they finished Eternal Palace around world 200-300 although I again missed Cutting Edge here because Classic wow had just come out so I was playing that instead. I would go on to regret this, but the classic release was so hype for me, having played it back in the day.

Availability:

I mostly work from home so am often online during the day, and of course can raid in the evenings

Communication:

I would hope my English is proficient, of course have discord and have no problem using my mic, although Indy (the little bastard cockapoo I mentioned before) chewed through my headset cable so I'm on backup ear buds atm.

Computer / Connection:

Lenovo Legion 7, around 200mbps internet, never have any fps drops or lag either in Sweden or the UK

Why Iron Edge?

As you can see I took a break during 10.1 but now I'm looking to get back into Mythic raiding at a decent level. You guys seem like a close knit bunch who've been together for a long time and that's really what I'm looking for, instead of just a guild with a high rank, because I'm a bit of a boomer now so would like a long term home in wow.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

While I can't commit to the game as much as I used to back in BFA, where I was pretty competitive and trying to push up the rankings, I'm certainly not washed up as a player and am as good now (or better?) as I was then.

We have scope for various DPS positions currently so I think what we would really want is for you to consider playing that which you enjoy most. What class have you been enjoying the most recently?

It sounds as if you maintain more than just the one so I imagine you have time to decide, but rather than relying on our guild and it's needs, let us know what you want to play most of all.

Hey!

Tbh it's not that I don't enjoy Hunter, but having skipped a tier and 10.2 around the corner I thought it was a good chance to try something meta (because hunter is often mid/bad).

Ironically it looks like BM is actually very strong in 10.2. Last night I was going over some sims and logs from PTR, BM was #2 ranged dps single target, and with the changes it's AoE is much improved. While the other classes I was considering, warlock/war, weren't looking too good.

Of course this should be taken with a large grain of salt, but it looks like BM could be a meta pick for raid, and decent for M+

So after all that talk about maining something else, looks like I will stick with the Hunter!

I will probably prep the DH too because they are broken..
