Searching for a movie title...

Not an actual film, but I'm trying to find a movie title of a horror film I saw a couple of years ago. My memory of the entire movie plot is vague but here is what I can remember. I must warm of spoilers.

The movie is about a group of friends who has just lost their friend. Days after the funeral they start receiving strange emails from the deceased and at first they suspect each other for playing a prank on one another. Turns out its his spirit trying to warm them about something terrible.

A scene I remember is they receive a package from the deceased containing red duck tape and they have to use it on the windows and doors of their room to keep some weird shit out.

I saw that film a few years ago, pretty decent, really plays on solitude and aloneness. I thought the run time was pretty bloated though and they could have wrapped it up with a much quicker pace. All in all a brilliant film to watch by yourself in the dead of night in an empty house.

I mainly remember the tape bit but yeah i found it googling. Apparently theres a 2nd one too, didn't look much into it though.
