Dear Iron Edge,

My name is Nico, 28 years of age. I live in the Netherlands, in a house(more of a room actually).
Recently finished my MSc Media Technology and have a BS in Interaction Design. I run a small media company together with a colleague.

My experience with WoW stretches back to open Beta, but I did not actively start raiding until the release of Ahn'Qirai. This was with Revelations on Dunemaul.
We completed AQ40 and did the first few bosses in Naxx40 before the guild collapsed.
Joined Aftermath, killed Gruul alliance second when he was still tough.
During TBC I raided with Aftermath, Reverence and Momentum Mori. The first two disbanded, and MM had a split off of players where some of us wanted to continue raiding and joined Calibre at the release of TOC. Calibre eventually ran into recruiting issues as well.
At this point I took a break from the game and finished my degree.
Now I returned to a mostly deserted alliance side and decided to transfer over in preparation for cataclysm.

Why Iron Edge? Well, first and foremost because of my brother-in-law Yoica. He's probably the only reason for me to even have a shot at joining, haha.
Iron Edge has always been around while I was raiding on alliance side, and while I'm sure you have had your difficulties in the past you didn't break down. A mayor goal for any ambitious alliance guild was always to 'catch up to IE'. A guild with the stability IE has shown itself to have would make a mighty fine place to stay.

My Character is a Resto shaman called Shellback. I have decided I want to be playing a healer for main in cataclysm with potentially a tank as alt(because tanks have so many added benefits).

I knew them all before WoW was announced.
He, his brother and my wife started playing on this server since day one so I'm here because of them. Although my wife has moved off this server for a while ago, didn't like getting ganked
