Me:
Hello people from Iron Edge. I am Romanov, but my real life name is Bo. I am 28 years old and I am from the Netherlands. Currently I am working long days in a hospital doing my internships or rounds for the study medicine, for which I still have 1.5 years left before I finish. It is a bit taxing at the moment but totally worth it. I live together with my girlfriend who is also studying medicine and our cat. I know Iron Edge as one of the solid guilds on Dunemaul that persisted through all the breakups, player shortages and drama's. I heard good stories from both Corinthian and Auran (who? ) and I met some of the players during the passing years. I played a lot in Ravenous during the early days and even played around with the role of classleader for a while, even though I always thought others were much more suited then I was (Ruee!). Later on I was more or less a casual slacker in Ravenous in which I resided for most of my wow career. Currently I am a member of the guild the Silent Crusade, which contains me and the characters from 3 friends after we started Cataclysm again. They however have all quit playing wow in favor of League of legends, making me the only active member. Since I still want to continue my Wow adventures, I would like to do this in a friendly, mature and social environment where I can do some pve, some pvp and have a friendly chat once in a while.  I think I can find this in IE.
There is however no real connection between me and IE, other then that we both have been around for a long time on this server, so I guess I am not really a friend or family (problem!)

Gaming:
I am only in for the Wowllercoaster, my spare time is limited so apart a few PS3 games I do not really play anything else but wow. In the past I have played alot of online games preferably teamgames,  like Teamfortress (the Quake version). But also Hack &slash like Diablo II.

About my WoW character:
I have been playing my priest Romanov since the beginning, mostly healing although I have had my darker days. I left a while during Woltk but have returned to try Cataclysm. I have not really raided since 2 years ago. My experience with the current content is mostly limited to heroics, which I liked a lot in the beginning cause of their much steeper learning curve then WOLTK. Besides pve content I also like to pvp. Currently I am not really doing anything ingame since my options are very limited. No friends playing means heroics with random people, and I really am not very good with those. The lack of manners that many people develop when they pass the loginscreen is the foremost reason. I find myself an average priest with very average gear (item lvl 349 anyone?). Although I do find these days that people tend to emphasize on item lvls and achievements a bit much, it does reflect my current priority, which is not wow, hence the friend & family apply.

Raiding:
Since I apply for the F&F section my main goal is the friendly environment and not the raiding. I mostly lack time in the evenings since I have to get up very early and I am quite tired after these long days forcing me to go to bed after seeing sesame street. When online however I am always willing to help out when called upon even though my gear is far from good and I still need to catch up on my knowledge of the main raiding instances.

Although I lack one of the most important requirements of the F&F application, the friends and family, I hope you would still consider my application. Even though many of my old friends have left the game and cannot vouch for me, I consider myself a friendly and valuable asset to a guild and hope I get a chance to prove this to Iron Edge.

Good apply romanov, wait for a officer to respond and see what they have to say. My opinion however is that we always should have a door open to good, experienced and friendly players. Not that many of those around.
