Leatherworkers?

I'm a 300 leatherworker/320 skinner and I was wondering if my profession still has a use in this guild. I won't get exalted with ZG soon (because I can't get online on the right hours), Thorium brotherhood is unnecessary since we hardly do MC/BWL and if someone does need it, he can ask other leatherworkers in the guild.

Cenarion Circle is the last faction that provides leatherworking recipes (The Bramblewood set) but we're not going to AQ40? So what's the use?

I'll get rep with them as much as possible nevertheless for the rogueset but what should I do?

Reroll my profession or wait till you've cleared Naxx to provide the guild with NR-gear?



I'm making as much cured rugged hides for the Naxx-setitems but for the rest there's not much I can do with it.


Any other leatherworkers who also have this problem? Or am I missing something here?

We will do eventually and then we'll need the NR stuff.

I can do all the leather and mail NR stuff so no worries there....My current rep with AD is 12219/21000 so I will soon be able to make all leather and mail FR stuff as well...

I can do plate/mail/leather stuff (elemental LW/ Armorsmith)
honored with TB (fire resist stuff until honored)
exalted ZG
exalted with CC (all leather, mail, plate nature resist stuff except dreamscale breastplate, it requires dragonscale LW)
exalted with AD (all leather, mail, plate frost resist stuff)

so I would say if you want to change your profession, you should do it, if you dont plan to grind the reputations, professions like tailor, LW, BS are not really useful, and a profession of gathering ressources (miner, herbalist, disenchanter...) could be more interesting.
