Anyway, started off back in QW aaaaages ago. Then moved onto Tribes and Tribes 2. Then a tribe mate introduced me to UO, which was great! Eventually ended up running my own small shard for the next 5 years. After that the same mate introduced me to WoW about a year ago. I joined his guild (made up of some old T1 and T2 friends and some ppl at the trickery.net forum). A nice, casual guild. Far from our expectations we managed to clear ZG, MC and BWL and even the twin emps and a few bosses in Naxx recently. Great stuff!
As for my characters.. I tried a druid a few months ago. Deleted it when it was level 12. Apart from that I've played my Mage for the whole past year. Mages rock! I've gone from being a newb in the guild a year ago, to a sort of sub-raid leader. I regulary run AQ20s, ZGs and even, unfortunately, MCs for the alts of the guild. God damn those Idols and enchants!
During my raiding career I've regulary raided at the following times (server time):
- Wednesday, 8:00 to 11pm
- Thursday, 8:30 to 12am
- Saturday, 8:30 to 12am
- Sunday, 3pm to 6pm and 8pm to 12am
- Monday, 8:30pm to 12am
- Tuesday, 8:30pm to 12am.
These aren't every week. In total we raid about 5 or so times per week, during the above time slots.
We, I, have cleared MC, Onyxia and BWL. We've done upto the twin emps and killed Anub and Razuvious in Naxx.
Why do you want to join Iron Edge?My current guild, Head Hunters on the PvP server Outland, has hit hard times. Increasely over the past few months we've been cancelling raids due to no signups. The reason for most of this has, according to our guild leaders, been because of people 'taking breaks' due to TBC. However, it started much before TBC came about and has been down more to the guild members being sub-par. When we try anything new we wipe a lot and nobody seems to want to try new content, to want to wipe, to want to pay out for pots, etc (or, at least, not enough people want to). TBC has just been the icing on the cake. The guild does raid fairly regulary, but any new content, which is basically the only thing left until the expansion, is out of the window.
As for Iron Edge? I know your class leader in passing in IRC. Your guild looks pretty bloody good and, as I'd been thinking of leaving my current guild for a while, this seemed the perfect place to apply. You guys raid all the time. You still have an urge to progress and conquer new things. So, here we are
What can I offer to Iron Edge?I've very active, dedicated, some could say obsessive, individual. I'm also fairly social and vocal in guild chat/forums/voice chat. I know pretty much all of the fights my current guild does inside out, and I'm sure I can pick up any new content that we'd be on fairly quickly (having read up on the tactics and such). Additionally, I think I have good kit for a mage at my level, something which you would find useful in a raid.

What professions do you have and why? Any cool/special recipes?

Do you have a decent computer? Do you have fps issues? What's your internet connection like? Is it stable? Do you have high ping to Kazzak? Do you lag? Do you disconnect every hour?
