Appart from the fact that 2500 was glad or rank 1 in tbc. I know you all get excited over an app over 30 words but I don't think you should brush aside 0 proof and a general misunderstand of rating caps at that time etc

To prove it, or not to prove it - it's not relavant
If he claimed to have glad last season and couldn't prove it, i'd be bothered

I agree its not relevant i just don't like bullshitters, now it may be that he's got his facts wrong but its not just me that thinks its a wierd claim, rash actually brought it up with me, super, pirtu etc. I've also asked haxan and holtz and they both agreed that 2500 was rank 1 kinda rating in tbc and no single team went above 3k - this is from 2 guys who actually played at 2500 in tbc.

So it was rank 1? Who are you to say that what he claims he had is bullshit? You know people who had 2500 rating in TBC, it's not impossible. Don't think you should say it's bullshit when you don't actually know - just because it sounds highly unlikely dosen't mean it's pure bullshit.

I didn't say it was bullshit, i just said i dont like bullshitters, i'm still waiting for him to reply, i'm sure he can defend himself, but right now he has 6/7 people all thinking its not right.

Also, i know he was playing ele but 2500 as a 13 year old seems even more unlikely.

I agree it does sound unlikely. I hope he have something good to say to all this as well.

As stated in-game and here it's really an irrelevant topic with the immense changes to pvp from then and now. Thinking that a 13 year old can't play the game properly is simply fooling yourself, there is potential everywhere. We had a top player last season who was a 13year old from Denmark that definately belonged at 2.2k+. Unfortunately there is no proof of this 8 year old gameplay because the rating has never held any meaning to me, the players that I play with does though. This kind of synical and frankly unpolite behaviour is not something that I look for in fellow guild members and I would like to withdraw my application.

Kind regards.

I'd like to apologize for what Doomslay was saying. His personal feelings do not reflect what the rest of the guild, and especially the guild management, thinks.

As mentioned before, the ratings people acquired in TBC don't really matter any more, since it was a completely different game. However, confidently stating inaccuracies is something that I've seen for a long time when I was in charge of PvP recruitment. So that could explain why all this spiraled a little out of control.

Based on the information you have provided, I think it's likely that you are confusing WotLK with TBC, since all of the arguments you've made line up pretty well with a WotLK-type situation.

So now that all that is out of the way -

You've applied with a priest that you hardly have any experience on, and all of the characters you've linked are undergeared, except for your warlock. So your warlock is clearly the character I'm more interested in.

Based on your decent application, and the fact that you seem like a really nice guy, I'm willing to give you an invite to the guild. I would like you to reconsider withdrawing your application. Whatever Doomslay has said in this thread are just the thoughts of a single individual, one that currently has hardly anything to do with the Iron Edge PvP team.

Hope that clears this situation up. If you have any more questions you can talk to me or Anarawen personally in WoW. I'll be online most of the day. :)
