Hello Iron Edge!

My name is Joakim aka "Joe" im 24 years old and currently living in Bergen, Norway.
im a former security guard thats sadly currently unemployed. ive been working mostly night shifts the last 3 years which has taken alot of my time when it comes to what i want to get out of the game.

My goals that i want to reach in WoW are basicly getting back into progression raiding. ive been sitting on the "fence" for too long while not experiancing the game to its full extent, which i want to change with warlords.


Class/Spec:

My main which ive been playing the last 3-4 years or so has been my paladin as retribution.
to me, i kinda identify a little to the class while loving the mix of damage and utility that the class bring to the table.

Alts:

currently i have a warlock at 90 and a rogue at 88 which i could level up aswell if the need is there but i personally prefer playing my paladin.

Professions:

im currently running with blacksmithing and inscription on my paladin.
ive had blacksmithing since burning crusade which is when i first made him which was the second character i leveled to 70.
i used to have mining as a secondary profession up till wrath when i swapped it out with scribe simply to get access to shoulder enchants easier but as blizzard are considering going away from the profession perks i might just pick mining back up.

when it comes to "cool recipes", ive got the very first thunder and deep thunder which just shows you how long back my paladin goes! unfortunatly..i never did buy that last third recipe..


Raiding/PVP Experience:

because of my job i havent really done any serious raiding after wrath really.
my experiance when it comes to raiding are basicly that i used to raid for Armed and Dangerous back on dunemaul during burning crusade on karazhan and some normal 25 progression raiding on an alliance server that i cant recall when it comes to OS, naxx and some failed attemts on EoE.

Previous Guilds:

theres just too many to list as ive never really found a guild that i could stay in long term the last years due to the work schedual that ive had.

some of the old dunemaul guilds i was in though was:

Availability:

since im unemployed im pretty much avalible all day long if needed. i do try to work out and such but you can say for sure that im normally on after 3-4pm server time.

Communication:

i would say my english is decent, its not my primary language since im from Norway but i havent really had any trouble communicating atleast.
ive also got Teamspeak 3, ventrilo, mumble, raidcall, skype and a working microphone so im all set!

Computer / Connection:

the computer im currently using is a 3.6ghz i7, 16gb 1866mhz memory with an nvidia 680gtx
on avarage my fps is stable around 75-90 on ultra.
my the internett connection that im currently running is a 50 mbit fiber so ive got a constant solid 30ms.

Addons/UI:

The main addons im currently using are:

X-Pearl, for cleaner unit frames.
Elvui, for a cleaner action bar which is easier to key bind.
Deadly boss mods, which helps me stay on my toes during boss fights.

Other Games:

currently im playing a littlebit off battlefield 4, warframe and war thunder just to get some variation at times.


Why Iron Edge?

well, im one of those who enjoys a community, people getting together to work towards a common goal. i also enjoy some banter aswell and belive the game becomes so much more enjoyable when you have those two attitudes into a guild enviorment.

with that i can reveal that rarespawnz is a real life friend of mine, ive been told that this is actually apart of the iron edge community which i would love to be apart off.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

this is really a hard question..i can offer myself as an open minded individual which enjoys working along with other people.
i can be there to help people gear up, do instances with them and we'll just see where that leads really.



Where did I hear about Iron Edge??

for now, rarespawnz. but i have been aware of Iron edge as it used to be a top guild on dunemaul.

Last Words?

as it stands i dont really except to do any raiding this late in the expansion therefor i apply as a social to get to know you guys better before warlords.
but i wish, if possible, to maybe get a shot at a raidspot in the upcoming expansion.

For now I can give you a social spot as you want, and when WoD hits I'm sure we can trial you as a raider, we don't have any ret paladins nowdays But we'll have to take it then.
