I am applying for the main raid.

I can play all shaman specs proficiently enough to be competitive, however, I excel far more as restoration. I've been playing a Resto shaman since I made the character in TBC but deciding to main it at the end of Cataclysm.

As Shaman being one of the strongest progression healers in the game we are heavy mastery stackers. Enabling us to heal more the lower the raids HP. I then go for around 20% haste because that's where I feel most comfortable (I do this on all my healers also). Then it's crit because of the resurgence passive (mana return on crit heals). I don't go for a lot of crit, however, as I feel confident in my mana usage.

The reason I play a healer, especially the resto shaman, is because I enjoy all the micro management of not having a rotation. There is some what of a priority system, more so in raids, of using Healing Stream totem every time it's up along with Riptide to maintain the Tidal Waves buff on on oneself. Then comes healing rain, I only use this if at least 3 people are going to be in it during its full duration. Then we use Chain Heal spam mixed in with spot healing where necessary.

Blood Death knight - 873, 20 traits.

Professions:

Herbalism - Have this just because of the old Lifeblood haste and haven't gotten around to changing it.
Engineering - I just think Engineering is awesome!
I am also a keen WoW angler.

I took a break during Hellfire Citadel due to health reasons.

I haven't managed to step into ToV due to focusing heavily on Mythic+



Previous Guilds:

Hung like a Tauren (Balnazzar) - It was my own guild.
Rise and Shine (Balnazzar) - The guild stopped raiding.
Delirium (Balnazzar) - The guild stopped raiding.
V o t H (Kazzak) - I was part of the core in this guild and we each felt as if we could no longer progress due to bad guild management. We then all left to form our own guild.
Missive (Kazzak) - I am still here today on my main. We are no longer a raiding guild just a group of friends seeing what we can do in Mythic+.
Entity (Turalyon) - I joined this guild on my Monk but I really wasn't enjoying mistweaver in a raid environment and wasn't willing to move my main over there as I have strong ties to Kazzak.

I don't disconnect or lag during peak times on kazzak.

I have Bigwigs to the left of my name plate at the bottom with growth going upwards and skada to the left also with growth going upwards.
My keybinds are based off how abilities feel when casted, which is apparently an unorthodox way of doing it (so I've been told).

These are just my main abilities as I have everything bound to something. I have good muscle memory as I don't play with action bars.

Why Iron Edge?

I want to join a two day raiding guild with semi-hardcore progression.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I will go out of my way to do everything I can to contribute to the guild whether that be progression raiding or helping raiders in mythic+. I always take criticism on board and I'm always looking at areas I can improve on.
When it comes to winding down and the social side of things I am very approachable and always willing to chat.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

I'm always lurking on WoW progress. I have known of your existence since Highmaul when Vejeta joined you after being in V o t H.

Well well well!!!

Long time no see Ploppers / Emmett!

This guy was at least a good resto shaman. He was lead astray by others to form missive but I forgive him for his brain fart moment, when he and the others left VOTH I had only just joined and than tried to keep the guild alive by helping with recruitment, which killed the guild.... anyway yeah back to the apply.

It's a decent application and I can assure the officers that ignore he is from Ireland, unlike the last healer from Ireland ploppers is not a diva. He is vocal on voice comms when needed and a good team player, he knows his class and I do think he could finally be the replacement shaman healer this guild needs.

For what it counts you have my backing Emmett, just don't leave me again else I'll have to cut your nuts off and feed em to you . There may be a delay from the officers as they are travelling to Norway to celebrate New Years with other Guildies today.
