Raider Application - Paladin (DPS) - Trenches (XR)
« on: November 23, 2022, 03:23:38 pm »
Hello, Iron Edge!

I am applying for the main raid.

Character: Trenches
Server: Draenor
Armory: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/Draenor/Trenches
Class/Spec: Paladin (DPS)
Member Type: Raider

Personal Info:

Hello my name is Luka Im 28 years old from Slovenia and work as a compaction machine/spare parts dealer, besides work I like to play video games, socialize, watch shows/movies, hang outside with friends, produce music etc.

Class/Spec:

Currently i main retribution paladin but have played multiple classes on high level since TBC up until now ranging from healer, ranged, melle specs all except tanks :D Been maining ret since end of BFA because I play a lot of arena too and enjoyed the playstyle of ret paladin

Am not sure what the prio stats are atm for ret because Im returing from season 2 but back then it was all about 20% haste then either mastery or versa, no crit. I was playing mostly execution sentence reckoning seraphin divine toll build which was played in the way that the first few buttons pressed you were ramping up for your burst window in wings then every 1 min between wings you had a short burst window with seraphin exe sentence final reckoning and divine toll. pretty simple but pretty effective if used right. But on certain bosses swapped around some talents altho with ret mostly it was the one I mentioned above. rotation looked something like blade of justcie->judgement-> crusader strike 2-> seraphin-> wings+ trinekts macro-> final reckoning -> divine toll ->templar verdict->wake of ashes-> templar verdict-> judgement-> BoW-> templars etc etc.

Alts:

Have a bunch of alts of all classes even have 4 paladins across horde/ally but for DF still deciding between feral druid DH and Evoker. Will have one of those geared and ready to go soon after expansion hopefully

Professions:

Dont really play professions much atm but I think i will in DF as I saw they revamped the system and you can get certain things from them in DF which are useful

Raiding Experience:

have raiding experience from TBC-SL playing on and off diferent specs used to be a resto druid for a long time back in the days then mained resto shaman in legion and got CE in antorus, after that swapped back to melle dps and got CE on my ret in CN then played m+ until mid season 2 and stopped until now. played some mage and

Previous Guilds:

theres quite a few through the expansions but last before i went on a break was IBN- Indecisive by Nature. Guild disbanded while I was away

Availability:

Available almost every day after work (4pm ST) and usually play a lot outside of raids aswell

Communication:

Have discord have a working mic usually prefer to listen during raids unless im required to call something out, but like to use mic outside of raids during m+ or pvp.

Computer / Connection:

decent computer sopon buying a new one but even the one i have is well above the minimum wow requirments never had issues, fps is around 60+ with good internet connection low ping.

Addons/UI:

i used WAs, Elv Ui, Big Wings, rc loot council, DBM, team ability trackers etc etc. Dont have a picture of my UI currently because im doing this application from work but can send it once im home( need to remake it anyway since the new default bliizard one messed up my elv ui one so yeah :D

Other Games:

Currently I play only NBA 2k23 on ps5 which Im pretty good at(was 1st in Europe last year in 3v3 with my team for 1 season) but I also play some FPS games some single player games even like God Of War ( my favorite game of all time-non online :D)

Why Iron Edge?

Looking for a stable raiding guild that I can call a new home for my return to the game :)

What can I offer Iron Edge?

A good player well experienced player that is not selfish and puts the team first, a calm non raging person. Know my class well, try to learn from my mistakes as fast as possible, doing research and so on.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

wowprogress while searching for potential guilds

Last Words?

IF i forgot something please add me on discord and il be glad to answer SK1L1NES#5683

Hi Luka,

Thanks for applying.

I have a few of questions before coming to a decision on the application.

What's the reasoning for wanting to move to Kazzak?

You mentioned going on a break during season 2 and after Castle Nathria. May I ask why?

You skipped over Battle for Azeroth when talking about previous experience. Did you not play BFA?

What are you looking forward to the most in Dragonflight?

I look forward to hearing from you

Hey,

Theres no particular reason for Kazzak, was just looking for guilds based on wowprog ranks on any server that was looking a good fit for me. Im also wondering what is the policy in the guild since cross faction/server was implied. For example I have a bunch of alliance alts aswell so I could play with the guild on my ally chars aswell if I got the lvled up and geared?

The break I took was because I was moving to my own place and had a lot going on IRL (mid season 2) because of that and I couldnt commit to raiding as I normally can. Am fully settled now though :D

I played BFA but mostly arena and keys altho I did raid too but not as serious. Was raiding mostly hc but helped some slovenian friends progress mythic aswell.

Im looking forward to the same things as every new expansion, trying out all the new content and systems, mythic raiding, pushing high keys and doing pvp while making new friends along the way :)

I also forgot to add that  I do not mind taking the bench role for mythic if your guild is already stacked on mellees, as long as I can atleast be there for the weekly hc runs that is fine for me as it is already pretty late to look for a guild and this one looks pretty nice to me I would settle for that atm.

Thanks in advance for your answer!

Hi Luka

Thanks for your response and patience.

Regarding the policy, we would require you to be in the guild on your main which is pretty standard.
As for anything else, all we really ask is that you be part of the guild and not just a character within the guild. Bring your personality and be a part of the community.

With that said and if you still wish to go ahead with your application, then we would like to offer you a trial for the main raid in Dragonflight.

Poke an officer for an invitation. Welcome!
