The Prodigal Son!
« on: August 28, 2008, 02:45:51 pm »
Dear guys,

LAtely i've been wandering around Shattrath - bored and without direction. Been pvpwhoring around with Auran and being 'that tank without guild that gets invited after every UB hc run' with Omnibus.

Seems like every casualguild i got in after giving the great big world outside IE a try, dies. I've had a lot of fun in Night
More and more i started to realize i made one big mistake --- I will never be a hardcore raider and I should not even try to be. WOW to me is a diversion when RL gives me the opportunity to. Im a casual slacker, a king of Greens and a welfare epic wearer (thought I STILL exactly don't get what that really means :S )

One thing i DO like a lot in WOW, besides the casual raiding and heroix is the social interaction between fellow horde members. And I've had that for the best when I was still in Iron Edge. Me leaving was a silly decision and the rest of this topic is basicly about me trying to convince you to get your prodigal son back  :'( Coz i really miss this guild. I even kept track of the website on a daily base...

So much for the 'poor me' introduction.

Now, a big part of you might already know me, but here's the introduction for those that never met me...

My IRL name is Jan, and im already 28 years old - almost 29 nice. Im a graduated Zootechnician and work as a veterinary advisor for animal feed. Im Dutch :) so i have the potential to be a pain-the-ass as well to become as epic as certain Shamans in your guild.

My hobbies are: my car (a Dodge Dakota '93 pickup), choppin'wood, milk cows (for real) :), football - and once i while wow... ofc.

I've been in Iron Edge already for quite some time and have been a deserter twice now already - which will prob draw some negative attention of at least ONE certain person :P . But love conquers all!
Before TBC i was slightly raidyish (MC, BWL), but after it took me 2 months to get Auran to lvl 70. Since shamans bore me in PVE, i leveled up my dr00d Omnibus quite fast. HE is now a decent casual tank and quite popular among plebeian ranks.

Both their armory links are here:
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&n=Auran
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&n=Omnibus

May i remind you that Auran is my ´i don´t really care play for fun´ character, and omnibus gets most of my attention, as i like the dr00d class more.

I still have some sponsors in Iron Edge!
Most of ´m dutchies! Cwave, Morbid, Roxis, Bombardi. But I others may remember me and feel like taking the prodigal son back under their wings.... aleandro, maybe more and even you delling!

What can I offer:
me (again) and not leaving anymore. not online at regular times, always slightly undergeared - but trying, sometimes lacking boss experience - but always willing to learn. However also: serious and devoted but with a sense of humour, kind, able to count on when needed, absolutely not epic-whorish - but i like a upgrade of gear once in a while. And with Omnibus a nice extra feral tank, with auran... i can always respecc healing when needed.  I even have some xp in TK, MH and SSC, ZA. And ofc i own Kara. Im like to active on forums as well!

Well...
I hope to receive some positive reactions, and really hope to see those green letters appear at the bottom at my screen again!

See you in game,

AUR

Didn't read it all.

Stopped somewhere around 'The Prodigal Son'...

Change it to 'Delling's Rock Warmer' and I'll take a more serious look at this numero uno revolving door junkie.
Now I run a tech website.

yes please! And get a 10% discount when you book for the whole year!

Change it to 'Delling's Rock Warmer' and I'll take a more serious look at this numero uno revolving door junkie.

I don´t even know what a rock warmer is :S. But im happy to have received a new title! w00t.

I wonder what would've happen if we actualy won the cup.

Heineken profit investments in foreign countries would finally get the Dutch what was always rightfully our destiny: Global Domination or death by dessecation of beer when our legacy is refused.
