"A movie as 2012, you expect it to be possible."

WTF, Inphy? :P

You know the world isn't actually going to end in 2012 right?
Now I run a tech website.

Yeah, its just around the corner, and im sure most of the raidteams will be split up considering most wont survive, so we gotta recruit more a month ahead.

I know the world isn't going to end. But the things that 'should' or 'could' end the world, are possible. There is really a 'supervolcano' in the US. And there really is the possibility of a solar flare big enough to disrupt the worlds magnetic fields. And there are more examples like that. Plate tectonics man!

I'm just saying that these things are possible, but they just ruined it, and made it something to laugh about really.

now that we are talking about possibilities. B-raid could beat A-raid.

Megan Fox could become a good actress.

And the world COULD end tomorrow.

Didnt make me think that 2012 would be a realistic movie though.

Bears like alts!

If her puppies had a lead role, I'd watch it.

One thing that really made me rage about that movie was the "OH NO WE HAVE 3 SECONDS LEFT? WILL WE TURN IT OFF IN TIME?!"

I really REALLY hate these, they are just so SO predictable...

Wow, what can you say about this movie?
To answer that question in one word: Epic.

I watched the Bluray rip last night and I gotta say I'm completely blown away! I have never before seen such realistic graphics. It was so incredibly detailed down to the chairs in toppling building. The man-hours put into details in this movie must have been nothing short of astounding. The suspense is built up through great character-building early in the movie, which ends in a cascade of relatable emotions and actions.

John Cusack with his (probably) best performance of his career, easily beating Identity or similar movies he's done. Woody Harrelson plays a very convincing outsider living in the forest, with his radio station as his only connection to the "real" world. The way he portrayed the toll of isolation is very hands-on and realistic. The russian twin kids are perfectly cast for the roll of upper-class wealth / lower-class morality, showing the audience how even wealthy kids can be multi-faceted and open to relations "across the class borders" so to speak.

What really raised my feelings for this movie was the amount of chasing-the-heels type of getaways. I mean, the suspense of watching the crew outrun pyroclastic clouds and having the ground vanish right on their tail is really amazing!

I won't spoil the plot, but I have to say that it is very on-time with current events and speaks a very real moral story of how people are, and how people should be. It is a frontrunner for high morality and common sense for all of humanity.

Best watch in the category since Battlefield Earth, which is a great film by the way.

9/10
