Personal Information

I'm a 19 year old boy who goes in school in Denmark, Roskilde (a city in Denmark). In my sparetime i play wow, hang out with the homeboys and getting drunk

I've played wow for about 5 years now, and during those 5 years I played 1 years on my hunter called "Stoneaxe" on Deathwing. While playing on that character I was in this guild named ALFA. It was a pure danish guild at that time, but the further we came into the game, the guild became more and more Scandinavian. After some good times in MC, BWL and AW, I decided to make a new character named "Drutaur". I was levelling this character with my brother, and after a while I changed the name of it to "Nephos".
After several weeks, if not months, of grinding gear, we got into this guild named Bonelock. The guild Bonelock came to Teron Gorefiend, then I decided to move on and try out a new server. I was rather tired of the guild itself, and also my brother. I had a few IRL mates on Dunemaul - so that's why I decided to move there. When I came to the new realm, I joined Rigor Mortis and at that moment I wasn't very well geared, however I managed to get my hands on some BT/SWP gear, and I also got fully cleared with them just in time for WOLTK. (I was with Rigor Mortis for around a year) During the following summer I got kinda stuck with the guild and I decided to leave. I was without a guild for a week or so, and at last I suddenly managed to pull together an apply for EQ, and I was accepted. It didn't last long before I once again got stuck in a guild. A lot of people started leaving, and we had several weeks with no raids etc. I gave it a couple of weeks, but nothing new happened, so I left. I joined Fallen From Grace which was small guild, and they didn't even have enough people to do Ulduar. I also realised that hardly anyone could speak english in that guild, most of the guild was turkish. So I decided to say thanks for the time, and I left.

At the moment I am guildless duing the lack on activity, hopefully not anymore.

Move from deathwing to dunemaul in August 2008.


Realm: Dunemaul

Rigor mortis - TBC/wotlk guild - reason for leaving cause the proguess went stuck.

Equilibrium - wotlk guild - reason for leaving was many left at the time i joined and a couple of weeks went without raiding.

Fallen from grace - wotlk guild - reason for leaving was too many of them on ventrilo were talking turkish in raid - couldn't stand that.

Revolution of Lemmings - wotlk guild - reason for leaving/change is that: Not so many ppl online, need tanking ppl all the time, one guy left cause one of my m8's wrote 2 words with caps - that is just a few exmamples.

So What - Wotlk guild - reason for leaving is that: They disbanned the guild duing a new start, i lost the wow spirit at that moment and never joined <Frak off>.

Why do you want to join Iron Edge?

I want to join IE because i need a guild that raids, complete achievements and still doesn't raid 24/7. while i kno ppl and have a few friends that is in the guild which could be awesome to raid with.


What can I offer to Iron Edge?

You should choose me because i'm willing to give all i can on a proguess night, i'm not giving up just because of a few wipe.
i'm always prepared for the raids, i can always take critisme if i can learn something from it, i always read up on tacs before a new encounter.

And i might be a improve.

Fair application and seems decent as player aswell, the only thing that troubles me is the majority of "guild jumping"? i mean, you've been in several guilds during wotlk, i do know guilds like Revolution of Lemmings and Equilibrium got stuck in progressing and So What reunited in Frak off, but still doesnt leave me without the thought, when are you then gonna go stuck in Iron Edge? seing it seems to be either you getting stuck in the guild or the guild itself getting stuck..
I know the B-raid arent perfect on many places atm but getting stuck for real, i hope not to see that day, yet.. (maybe on Lich King heroic ?). And i noticed that you said your able to raid everyday beside friday and saturday, that is ofcourse very fine, but you are aware that the B-raid actually on raids Monday and Tuesday right?
Also the fact that we already have Ildar running as Balance druid i cant see where the spot for a 2nd Moonkin should open up, seing there would be alot of other really good alternatives to pick, unless its certain fights where the Starfall aoe is very usefull (Lich king i suppose).
However good luck on the application and wait to see what Hugman and Grilly think of it

About the guilds, guess it's somekind of badluck, yes i've been in a few guilds lately in wotlk, and normally if it's something wrong - i'm really patient but if i can see something is just wrong here, i'm gonna tell it to the leaders and if they can't do anything about it, than it's only way to gquit. (in the worst case)

and Yes ino that monday and tuesday is your raidsday, also why i road "Yes - always"

actually, i didn't knew you alrdy had a balance on the B-team, sure it could be nice to a a second with the lich king dude, but i hope there can be another option.

Hey fellow moonking!

Nice to see you again, our ways have met quite some times now. Although I find your application fair, I would really like to see that you know your class.

Why do you have that spec? I find it peculiar, it is alot different from the normal spec.

You dont have moonglow, yet you use dreamstate.. which is just like why? Improved moonfire should be quite a lot better also.
Gale winds is unuseable on all bossfights in icc, so its just for topping the meters on trash. Not really anything you need to have.

Your biggest loss is starfall.... Its great for proccing Natures grace, and 2t10 bonus. Glyph of starfall is also better than IS, but thats ofc only if you actually spent the talent point on it.

I would drop the Genesis points and put them to better use elsewhere.

Idol of Lunar Fury is inferior to Idol of the Lunar Eclipse so you should get that one when you can.

I dont understand your blue gem, most moonkings use spellpower and spirit to fill them out. Otherwise your gear seems fine.

Where do you seek new information about moonkins?
And do you have any wws reports or worldoflogs where we can see your dmg?

For an awnser to your first question, when i picked the spec i saw on the things that could be useful for a moonkin in PVE.

why i've picked Dreamsate instead of moonglow is that i tried both things and i got the best use of dreamsate, and in the last end it was either dreamsate or moonglow.

Improved Moonfire seems useless in my vision, some crit to a dot - than i prefer some extra boost on my "head" spells.

In the Gale winds i might see ya point, not that useful on the most bosses.

At the Starfall talent i dont really see a point aswell, only on Lich king and Saurfang - else i just see it as a PvP talent.

AT the Idol, it's only 20 crit rating i miss on it, and it has to stack up before it get around the one i've now. The one i've now is on 24/7 since the moonfire is on all the time.

hehe the blue gem, well it's because my Meta gem - just so it can work.

I dont have any specific place where i seek info, i check patchnotes, google a question if i'm in doubt and such things.

Havn't really been raiding lately so can't post a wws log.


I might be wrong with a few things and if this sounds like crap or anything, please tell - i'm open!

You consider this usually, but you do take 3/5 genesis... What you think is better 10% more dmg and crit on moonfire, or 3% more dmg on moonfire and insect swarm? No brainer really

I haven't been too impressed with your class/general wow knowledge, but this one really made my day. Ildlar said Sp/spi (i.e. Purified Dreadstone) which is a purple and counts towards the blue meta requirement. Kind of odd you don't know this since you are already using 1 sp/spi gem

About his specc....

The following has been pointed out as "wrong" :

3/5 Genesis
1/3 Dreamstate
2/2 Gale Winds


Thats 6 points, spent them in :

2/2 Improved Moonfire, Moonfire does more dmg, its a no-brainer.

You got a choice here now, spent either 1/3 in Moonglow (Reduces Mana for some spells) or 1/5 Genesis (Improves DoT dmg a little).
Now this is up to you, seriously mana aint a problem, so you might as well go with 1/5 Genesis, but its wahtever you prefer.

1/1 Typhoon, always fun to knock stuff back; tanks love you. Jokes aside, its good for certain situation; where you get knock-back on a boss fight, cast Typhoon; got aggro, cast Typhoon, etc..., etc... And of course its nice for the Saurfang fight, for knocking those adds back.

1/1 Starfall; whatever you say this is one does quite alot of dmg, even on a single boss. There are some boss fight where you shouldnt use this one, but they are rare. Seriously take Starfall.

Now you got 1 point left, this one is again entirely up to you. Either go with 2/5 Genesis for some more DoT dmg or get 1/3 Owlkin Frenzy. Personally i got 1/3 Owlkin Frenzy and i love it; procs alot on various boss encounters and the 10% dmg increase and the being immune to pushback rocks. But again, this point is entirely up to you.

I've made a new spec now with some new glyphs and gems changes.

But still, Typhoon is a shitty talent for pve imo, yes useful on saurfang but notthing else, not gonna bet my money on that.

Seriously Starfall!

Its a must. I cant really say it loud enough. On single target its great for proccing 2tier10 and Natures Grace, and it does decent dmg aswell.

I wasnt really impressed by your application, but i really like your feedback. Be that as it may, I think you should allready have the information that we gave you, it is public and all on the net. This is supposed to be an application not a "help me with my gear and spec" post. I find it a bit shocking that you have been playing moonking for so long and not been reading just a little bit up on the class.

My gf sees you as a nice chap, so you should be fine in socially.
