Terran is just as hard as Zerg and Protoss, you ignorant bastard!
Don't give me all that "marine marauder OP" bullshit, you know just as well as I that a good roach/zergling push 6 or 7 mins into the game fucks any MM combo if they're not walled off so far in the game.  ;D

Surely calling anything faceroll in sc2 is somewhat futile if you're talking actual competitive level play?

I think the main complaint is that zerg don't have any viable tactic that actually works that involves sitting in one base and building units, then just pushing out.

There is a bit of a skill range that really suffers from this problem, namely where people are good enough to not just die to anything, but also not good enough to manage a huge economy over multiple bases.

Basically, the terran player doesn't have to take any initiative in this skill range because zerg doesn't have enough skill to punish him for just digging in. This leaves it to the zerg to take the initiative (harass, or expand), which simple logic shows it's harder to do for this certain skill-range.

status quo: terran wins
terran takes initiative: terran wins
zerg takes initative: zerg wins

I'm pretty sure this slight imbalance will waver off as soon as people learn how to break fortifications and how to abuse a huge economy.

It's just hard to take the initative against siege tanks on a ramp!

your absence makes me sad vorte :(

I think the expanding part in zerg is awesome, because it really is what zerg is supposed to be doing. I also think it's not that hard to work from multiple bases.
1. You can bind all new larva and easily control them without looking at them.
2. All your tech is in your main, so you barely have to pay any attention to the other bases exept for managing workers (which is made easier aswell by separate rallypoints)

And, if you look at for example:
[/youtube]

The 4gate is probably the strongest cheese from a single protoss base, and isn't that hard to defend against, even if you invested time and resource into an early second hatch

breaking through sieged tanks on ramps is a simple matter of time, simply overrun them with all the units you have been getting from your multiple bases while he is still camping outside one (or maybe two if you let him get a second). My personal favorite is waiting for them to unsiege (when he's getting a second base for example) and then rush in.

If that doesn't work, get mutas or burrow :)

Hm, that is a really helpful tutorial. He talks about some interesting stuff, i.e. Zerg being a reactionary race. Thanks for linking it :3

Now dont go so defensive Rash, i actually wasnt completly serious about that faceroll, it's more like palmar said, im propably at best medicore at this game, if i was at skill level and considerable apm i would be able to spawn creep tumors, build workers, place banelings all over choke points and harras with mutas and drops aka abuse that terrible terran is terrible, just i dont so i get often frustrated by losing to bad players a moving with stinky mmm ball :P. Also design of some maps with all those ramps and choke points and total lack of flanking space is kinda iritating, thanks god for that ignore button for some maps (they should implement it in wow also, so i never see RoV or Sota again).

That tutorial i saw earlier, and yeah its very usefull, i think i steamed at least 3 protoss players that way already so its really worth watching.

EDIT NR.2 That  "your steaming some protoss" is not what you wanted to upload me thinks :P

I'm trying to convince the game I should be in diamond (currently like 7th in my league in platinium).

While doing so I've been trying a variety of random strategies just to get a feel for more unit, some of those are quite entertaining!

First: Broodlord rush

Second: Queen Push! (terrible, terrible macro)

Third: Offensive Spine crawler / 6pool rush

fourth: Huge macro game

fifth: Hidden proxy hatchery
