It's a Friday, this had me confused for a couple of minutes.

For lazy soabs like me, an "unread forum posts" bookmark URL should now be http://www.iron-edge.co.uk/index.php?action=unread

Why do you need to make a thread about a link that's at the top of every page? :)

Okay... moved a lot of threads and boards around.

You will find that we now have an SC2 category, and HON and Civilization now have their own boards under the Other Games category.

Moved the WoW boards out into their own category. Iron Edge category is now a general category for everything about the guild.

Take a look at the main index of the forum and find your favourite boards. They're all still there, they might just be in a different place.

I also retired a few boards that no one had used in a while (Wipe Squad, Roster Support, 'TBC discussion').

Any problems/questions, post 'em here.

Now I run a tech website.

Looks better, even though it'll take some days to adjust.

Things I noticed;

- "Events" forum hasn't been used for more than a year, also time to retire?
- The classes subforums are in reversed alphabetical order...for what it's worth.
- And something that's been around for ages, also a tiny thing, "(Upcoming) birthday" in the calendar is a terrible color on the eye, you can barely read it.
- Edit; and something else, maybe it's an idea to create two subforums in the PvP forum, one for Arena, one for (Rated) BG's.

Yeah, more PVP boards coming I think.

Events are staying, as we'll likely be using the calendar more.

This!

And also, any chance you can fix the special-symbol-letters Delling? It's fucking up names, posts and even links. Plus it looks kinda silly.  ;)

Thanks in advance.

Yathezai -- how about you actually provide some links to show the problem?

Hmm, excuse me, it's not actually fucking up links, it's something the Armory does automatically when you copy-paste a name with special symbols. As long as you don't type the Armory link it'll be changed to a working link.

For example:

http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Yatheza[i with two dots], doesn't work.
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Yatheza%C3%AF, works.

Anyway...I'm still having this (Firefox):

So it's not really a problem, more something that looks silly. Maybe it's just my ignorance about internet coding, you're all way better at that stuff! :P

Yeah, it's character encoding. I tried to move the site over to UTF-8, which would allow for all those funky characters, but I ended up breaking the site.

I will try again at some stage... I just don't know when :)

I think it's a good reminder to stop making characters with stupid characters in their name in order to get your favourite game/film/etc character's name. It's mildly better than, say, xsepirothx, but only just.
