Hey guys!

Who are you?
First a little about myself. My name is Daniel Laurberg, I'm 28 years old and live in Slagelse(Denmark), where I study communications at university. I played WoW back when it had been out for about 3-4 months, got to lvl 60, but lost interest in the game soon after. I've played all kinds of different MMO's since; warhammer, aion and the last one I played was rift. I watched some videos of wow on youtube the other day, just for kicks, and it looked almost like an interly different game from how I remembered it, and thought hey why not try again. Got the free trial and MAN am I hooked now! :-D It really is a totally different game than what it was 4-5 years ago.

Why do you want to join Iron Edge?
The character I had back in those days was a tauren hunter called bigfoot, and it may seem odd, but seeing your guild name actually reminded me of some guys(whose name I have forgotten :-D) from your guild that I did some dungeons with back then, and as far as I remember they were quite nice. I looked at some websites from some of the other guilds on this server, and your guild is the only one that has written anything about a strong community, which is what I value the most when playing MMO's. Otherwise I could just be playing single player games :-) Currently I am in some guild called "Cataclysm Leveling Guild", which I was invited to about 10 seconds after I entered the game. Not much going on in the guild chat though, apart from achievement spam and a whole lot of GZ's.

Tell us about yourself as a gamer.
Without blowing my own horn, I'd say I'm quite an experienced player, especially when it comes to MMO's. I learn quite quickly, and I have this habbit of wanting to know just about everything there is to know about for example the class I play. Apart from that I just enjoy having some freinds online to play casually with, doing dungeons etc.

Tell us about your WoW character if you have one.
As I wrote earlier, I only started a few days ago, but I got so hooked on the game, and I've leveled somewhat faster than what I did back then, so I'm at lvl 51 with my orc shaman, which I have enjoyed very much so far! His name is Corai and he is very angry GRRR!

It would be nice to join a guild with a strong community and experienced players, since even though I'm quite independant when it comes to learning about games, it is always nice to have somebody to ask about all the new changes. I hope to get some positive replies on this application :-)

For us to take your application seriously you need to show that you care. I see that you have 10 unenchanted items and even a socket without a gem. Your professions arent properly leveled and you are not wearing full mail gear for the armor bonus!!!!

On a more serious note nice app, I dont think we have ever invited a lowbie like you as a social member before without a friend or family member in the guild but gl.

We have, Grax, but it's rare -- and usually when they blow me away with an awesome application (like Fuzion's comic!)

Anyway, I like your application, and you sound fairly mature and level-headed for a Dane...

Let me think about it and get back to you in the next day or so. I'll see if anyone else has anything to say, too.

Genuinly think so, wrote a 4 line post and then pressed send, took a sip of my coffee and i think i died or something.

Anyway - basically i said: We all know delling loves to pretend to hate the random dane apps, but we all know where tronz came from!
And i like this guy, he's put more effort in than a lot of our raider applies and when it comes down to community we invite the person, regardless of character, so good luck and thanks for applying!

Haha yeah I know all that unenchanted gear, and using two maces doesn't grant me the racial expertise bonus, just to add to the fail :-D

Anyways, time is experience! Gotta get back to more leveling!
