I really think the next expansion is gay. For me, wow has always been something epic. You got 'The Burning Crusade', 'Wrath of the Lich King', 'Cataclysm', and now we have gay fkn Panda's with Pokemon.

This is clearly a flirt with the growing Asian Market. They are trying to attract more players by turning wow in to a console game which will probably mean an increasing amount of HC players leaving.

When rumors about Pandaren as a playable race first emerged (TBC or something), wasn't there fuss about Pandas being sacred or some shit in China/Asia/Wherever, thus political impossible for Blizzard to implement? Remember the silly undead-remodeling they did due to similar reasons.

You're all missing the point to be honest.

Was Burning Crusade about Blood elves and Draenei? No, it was about the Burning Crusade.

This entire expension (oke, oke, it has Pandaran in the title) isn't about the new class and lore. It is about the war between the horde and alliance. It's focusing on those wars, that have been going on since warcraft 1. Having the epic feeling you got when playing WC1 and WC2. Faction wars!

It's not like WC3 was complete shit when they added the Pandaran, was it? Well, you could put this under the same catagory. They just added another race, but it's not what the game is going to be about.

And about the pokemon thing, why not? Does it change the game? No it just adds something to do when you're bored shitless. Something to keep players play more, when they're out of raids, dailies and other things. And they had to do something with the companion pets at some point, having 190 in the game just to collect? (Gotta catch 'm all?) Why not pokemon battles? (or zoidberg)
