Probably! I don't know anything about the coding options here, the link is always http://www.wowhead.com/item=12345 with the 5 digit item ID.

Go reread the thread. I already posted the way you are saying it Arch, but we used to be able to use [ item]ID or name [/item] similar to EJ. Just go to EJ pick a random thread and type

[ item]49623[ /item]

and use the Preview post option so that you don't actually post it :p
