My Edgefest observations (was supposed to post this like 2 days ago, but forgot too):

Sintrael had indeed put on weight. However, I believe a decent amount of the weight he had gained, was premeditated, to the number of 3 inches of excess thick skin. He did this in order to survive the two whole days of almost constant "LOL Sint is fat" jokes, with nothing more than a grimace, and without ending up smothering any of you in your sleep. This was particularly admirable, since he was definitely several clothes sizes away from being the fattest there.

If he was faced with an awkward complicated problem, and someone told Palmar to "Ask yourself, what would Jesus do?", he would, inevitably after a lot of though, come up with the conclusion, to Noodle.

Anyone, upon spending more than a few minutes with Nachmann, would come to the same 3 conclusions: A. He is an easily likeable, very sociable guy, who probably gets away with murder quite often. B. You suspect that his real name is "Nachmann Skychild Moonflower". and C. That he should be holding a Tambourine.

Kawe is indeed a bold fellow. He was especially bold when he and his team were steam-rollering over us in Dota 2, and he was boldly commenting on it loudly to Palmar, who was on the other team, and trying not be trolled by it (to less and less success, as the louder and louder bangs on the table from his direction proved).

Kilizion is a very nice dude, and is more than happy to go purchase food for his fellows. This turns out to be very amusing, when he awkwardly tries to explain to the cute till attendant that the 3 boxes of larger, 3 large pizzas, and numerous sugary foodstuffs he had in his basket, wasn't just for him (though I was surprised he didn't go with the rote answer: "Its for Sint").

We played some pretty awesome games of http://armagetronad.org/, and while studying various peoples tolerance for high speed, checking their reflexes, and general comfort zones, I think I have got a very good profile of the vehicles they drive in real life:

Palmar:

Ghost: http://i49.tinypic.com/2h7m6gk.jpg

Nach: http://i46.tinypic.com/nb5itz.jpg

Grish: http://i47.tinypic.com/20tj986.jpg

We also played some Supreme Commander from which I learned:

Palmar thinks the plural form of the word "Gunship" is spelt "Grish".

Kawe feels that if someone is new to a game, and they are on the opposing side to you, you must, by law, inform them if you are going to attack them, with exact specifics as to what your forces can do, and exactly how to counter them. To do anything else is unfair. I think he feels this way, because he is known for applying this same logic, when he plays against inexperienced Dota 2 players on the opposing team to him. Also, if he runs his ground units into range of your stationary, small fixed range tower defences, which are placed in your territory, it is clearly a dastardly unfair offensive move by you.

From Team Fortress 2 I was taught:

That the Bow and Arrow is waaaaaaaay mightier than the Minigun (by Sint).

That a person wielding a giant fuck-off-claymore, is far more terrifying than rocket launchers (I think that was Kawe).

And that Palmar should never be in charge of Gravity.

Anyway, some more pictures:

Yeah, didn't discuss you Supremacy -- you were a pretty small fish, compared to some others in IE history.

We talked about Forker/Brother. Lex. Kaos. Some of the Norwegian tards. Gorbag...

I feel violated that you guys trash talked "the Norwegians"! Although I cannot imagine any one of you could come up with a mean thing to say about me. Perhaps other than that I am pussy whipped.. And that Bladed Hand ordeal.. And my technological impairedness.. And any result of Delling being made aware of my penis size during his Norway visit.. AHHH LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!

Seriously though, looks like it was forklift-loads of fun, and I really, really wish I could have made it. Edgefest 2013!!

Btw, Sparrow, you should've come.

Maybe next year.

But I'm afraid I would probably get a punch in the face by somebody.

Hah look this hugman, he spends more time talking about my trashtalking him in supcom 2 than I spent doing it!

I might have felt bad for being obnoxious to Palmar in dota 2 if it hadn't been so darned fun. Anyway I think he took it well, especially given how hilariously the AR worked out in our team's favour :D

Also in that first photo it looks like Kili is pushing Palmar as though it's a wheelchair.

I don't remember much trashtalking of the snorewegians, I don't think it was really necessary to say anything when the evidence of the weaksauce that is Norway was right there, in the lack of any representative!
