The return of the Powerrank
« on: September 05, 2012, 01:19:21 pm »
This is an announcement thread, but it will have a mini-powerrank that I never did months ago. It will also include some requested help for the power rank!

We're hiring! We here at Iron Edge power-rank inc. need a qualified video nerd to find create videos of good or terrible plays for the powerrank. Video editing skills, passion and willing to invest time much required. Must be able to deliver one video for every 10-ish games.

Creativity and humour are a bonus

Mini Powerrank:

These games were recorded sometime back in may I think, but there was never a power-rank thread for them. I don't remember the games so I'll just be giving you some stats and names, no writing or explanations this time around, but when power rank returns you will get some excellent trash talk.

The last edit to this Power rank spreadsheet that I have was made 124 days ago, so yeah, that's at least the time since we played those games.

I have 7 games recorded for consideration.

Notice that these games do not include the games recorded yesterday because they will be considered when the power-rank goes in full flight again.

1. Mike

Crazy record from those games. 5-0 speaks for itself. Mike's performances were never overly flashy, but he always had a strong showing and good stats.

2. Tyler

Tyler played a good mix of hard support and carries to deliver 4-2 stats in these games.

3. Sint

One thing he can do is to stomp on riki. Sint went 3-2 in these games, delivering a particularly stompy performance on riki.

4. Shiftey

Shiftey played hard support every game, 2 lich games, 2 cm games and one silencer game, and succeeded in not feeding and keeping his record at 3-2.

5. Palmar

Apparently I stomped a bit on Beastmaster and then lost a game on mirana. 2-1 record in the games for the last spot on the power rank list.

Random stats!

  • Most stompy performance was Sint's 20-4 on Riki
  • Highest GPM was Kawe's Juggernaut (11-1) at 562.
  • Feeder of the week is Delling's 0-13 CM
  • Mike Denied 35 creeps in one game on Morphling (6-1)
  • Highest XPM was kawe's Clockwerk (12-1) at 723
  • Hobo of the week is Grilly's Warlock at 120 gpm

Stomps

  • Sint (Riki) 20-4
  • Ghost (QoP) 16-3
  • Cwave (Lion) 14-2
  • Kawe (Clockwerk) 12-1
  • Pluug (Riki) 15-5
  • Palmar (Beastmaster) 14-4
  • Kawe (Juggernaut) 11-1

Shit Tier: Grishnag

Grishnag managed an impressive 0-5 performance. Finally, and 4 months overdue, Cwave has lost his Shit Tier throne to a fellow Dutchie.

Stay tuned for the return of the Power-rank, more brutally honest than ever before!
Trolls are awesome!

I could swear tyler had more teeth.
Insanity doesn't run in my family. Rather, it strolls through, taking its time, getting to know everyone personally.
