Hi guys I thought it was a long time a go that we have had a thread where people can share their tips and sources for useful wow knowledge.

Please reply if you know a website, program or spreadsheet that should be on this list.

Rotations, stats and specs:
http://Elitistjerks.com - A big forum with tons of information about  every class in the game and active discussions.
http://Noxxic.com - Quick and dirty guides for all classes a very good starting point when your alts hit 90, but go to elitistjerks if you want to be pro.
http://www.maxdps.com/ - Models dps based on chosen specs, gear and rotation (based on simulationcraft calculations).

Addons:
http://Curse.com - a big site and now the main source of wow addons, you can download the curse client from here that can manage your addons and keep them up to date.

Blogs and news:
http://mmo-champion.com - News site with active discussion forums. The main place to go if you want to be updated with news about progress and patch changes in wow.

http://Wowinsider.com - Mainly a source for blogs, nice blogs for lore, different classes and specs and more general articles about wow.

Strategies and Tactics:
http://Icy-veins.com - Tactics for bossfights.
http://www.tankspot.com/ - Tactics discussions and raiding videos

Logs and statistics:
http://Worldoflogs.com - Parses from wow raiding, (http://worldoflogs.com/guilds/9167/ for IE raid)
http://raidbots.com/dpsbot/ - Statistics of dps and healing in raids based on data from worldoflogs.com. - You can go here to compare your dps to other raiders.

External Programs
http://elitistjerks.com/rawr.php - Rawr is a nice program for modelling gear but is not yet properly updated for MOP.
http://simulationcraft.org/ - Models dps based on class, spec, gear and rotations.
Class specific sites:
http://www.wow-petopia.com - A guide to all hunter pets in wow.
http://www.femaledwarf.com/ - Hunter dps modelling.

Both maxdps and noxxic where bad for mages....

Manaflask has decent and easy to read guides for all classes, written by top players. Icy-veins has more in depth guides that are pretty easy to read, but the best are usally found on EJ.

Mr robot seems to be the best option for reforging

Atm there is no good theorycraft site for warlocks, elitistjerks /f80 seems to be dead for a long time, and all these other sites are superficial. I would only consider this for leveling an alt. Official WoW forums looks in better shape atm.

Paragon and Method sometimes have good guides for certain classes, but the quality can vary quite a bit.

Right... because they sometimes have good class guides I'm a fanboy? If that's your definition then I guess you're right. I'm a drooling idolizing fanboy.
