My name is Mark. I am what you would call a mature player. I'm from the UK and I work full time in a mundane job in a large multi-national privately owned company where I build engines. I have an Alaskan Malamute pup and live in an old milking shed barn conversion in a little rural village. I go fishing,listen to rock music, watch motor sports, rugby, rowing and drink beer (lots) and jim Beam

Spec:I'm playing assass at present with combat as an off-spec. I have no preference on either as I have been used to playing whatever provided the best output each expansion and patch so I swap around when I need to, usually when Blizz decide they have no love for my class and kill one of the specs. However, when one spec proves to be far better in any particular patch then I usually re-do my off-spec to a pvp build for fun.
Class:Agi > Malee hit (7.5%) > Expertise (7.5%) > Mastery > Crit/Haste
I use Shadowcraft and EJ for reference and to a lesser extent Noxxic.
Alts:I have a number of 90s on Anachronos and Chamber of Aspects and may transfer a couple over to feed my main as it has no gathering profs being a raid toon.
Professions:Engineering (extra trinket) and JC for the 320 stat gems.
Although I'm quite happy to re-do these if a patch dictates a beneficial change.
Raid Experience:Raided since the start of Wrath beginning with Naxx in a 25 man guild then progressed into a reasonable 25 man guild for ICC and then a sub-group for 10 man hc there. Gm's then quit and the guild went to the dogs so I left. Ran with a couple of 10 man guilds in Cata then moved realm to Kazzak with a decent group of raiders progressing to 5/8 hc in Dragon Soul before that Gm left due to work and the rest drifted. Moved back to Anachronos with 3 mates that were left and we all joined a new guild running Cata instances until it became apparent that some of the group were totally clueless. So, we left again and formed a new guild on Kazzak (again) but by this time we were too far behind in progress to recruit so it drifted apart. This brings you up to date as my toon has been marooned there ever since with 1/12 normal progress. Sad, but true
Previous Guilds:See above. The only 2 on Kazzak were ^I Look Good In A Wig" and "AFK My Cat Is On Fire"
Dark Secrets on Anachronos during Wrath and Wigs during Cata prior to guild x-fer to Kazzak during that expansion.
Availability:I do work shifts at the moment although this may change. I do 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights so obviously would not be able to raid as it stands for 2 weeks out of 4 when I am on night shift
Communication:I am English so yes, I am proficient in its use
I need to re-install TS3 and Ventrillo but I have used both before. Just had a new pc so not got those re-installed yet probably do them tomorrow.
Computer / Connection:No issues there. Runnning an i-7 with an AMD 7970 card. Connection is stable, usually 40ms and 100fps on high settings.
Addons/UI:DBM, Slice Admiral (tracks cps and buffs) Skada and a few others for utility. Will be looking at Weakauras once I have sorted my UI.
This will change now I have a new pc as I'm intending to have a play with Elvui and set up a custom UI.
Other Games:No time to play anything else
Why Iron Edge?Well firstly, my friend who I have raided with for 5 years joined you a little while ago in your casual 25 raid group and he likes it there so I'd like to get some raiding done now that I have a pc that allows me to run 25 man raids. He tells me your guild is very much like the original guild we raided in together during Wrath.
Secondly,you have decent progress (certainly better than mine lol) and from what he tells me well organised raiding and a good attitude across the group.
What can I offer Iron Edge?Low dps probably until I get some gear, and, a dry sense of humour.
Where did I hear about Iron Edge??Warlockmarre specifically (my old raiding buddy)
Last Words?As an epitaph I always liked " I told you I was ill" but from me personally regarding this application, I'm a nice chap, still keen to learn and improve my game-play. If I sign for a raid I always turn up prepped and ready on time,every time. If I fail I can take constructive criticism and I am my own harshest critic.

What professions do you have and why? Any cool/special recipes?
What previous raiding/PvP experience you have, Setups, Ratings etc.

Are you proficient in english? Do you have Discord and can you listen? Do you have a microphone and do you use it?
Do you have a decent computer? Do you have fps issues? What's your internet connection like? Is it stable? Do you have high ping to Kazzak? Do you lag? Do you disconnect every hour?
